I have a customer with an SBX and single line phones, the phones can answer incoming calls but when they go off hook they get a busy signal. Is this in the button programming?

"Going off Hook" is a bit vague...is this before or after pushing a line key? Or not selecting any line at all? It could be button programming or it could be trying to use a line that isn't there..you get a fast busy as soon as you press the key. I usually remove any appearances of inactive lines, make the button a user button.

Cordless phones cheap not manufacturer cordless. No line buttons, just going off hook

SLTs should get intercom dialtone when going off hook. You can dial an extension and an outside call requires the digit 9. All unused lines have to be removed from group one or you will get a reorder tone when dialing the digit 9.
