Hey Guys I have a OS-7200 all brand new. The customer has been complaining about the Audio Quality since the install. Its like the TX on every 14 button phone is over amplified. When I put 28 button falcons in the audio problems dont happen. I am at my wits end and need help!!! It also happened with 21 button to 21 button.

Is the system grounded? Is the third wire of the outlet grounded? If you measure resistance between the third wire ground and the rack (if it's in a rack) what do you get? Any other equipment switches etccc. installed in the rack? And now for the weird one are there fluorescent lights on in the phone room? If there are try and test with the lights off.

If you do the same test off site do you have the problem? Or if the OS 7200 is in another room on site?

I have just found that it is a DS 5014 and a DS-5021 problem. Some of the newest batches from Indonesia!!! Be on the lookout
