Hi,
I had DISA working on my Inter-Tel 8.x system until we moved to a different provider. The number in the routing table works, however when switched to point to DISA it gives the generic number unavailable message.
Could anyone give me hints on what the issue might be.
Thanks, ltctech

Have you programmed a DISA security code?

Yes, both the day ring in and night ring in call routing tables have DISA security codes.

hmmm, if you reassign that DID to another device such as VM, it answers?

Yeah, the DID works when reassigned to go to VM.
Any DID assigned to DISA says "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed at this time, please hangup and try your call again later, Thank you."
We have two CO Trunk Groups, one is used, one is there but not used. The one that is used is pointing to Call Routing Table 1 for both night and day, a DISA security code is listed for both. The unused Trunk Group is pointing to a single None for both day and night, which a DISA code cannot be entered for as it is not a Call Routing table. The unused group does not have any trunks assigned to it.
It seems as if I have everything configured properly. Are there any flags which interfere with DISA?
I really regret inviting an outside tech to connect our phone system to the new provider. I bet he thought it was a security issue and turned it off somehow.
Thanks, ltctech

Well more than a year later and we still haven't figured out what the issue is. Just asking if anyone has any fresh ideas?
Thanks.
