I currently have a customer using DTERM Recorder.

The current settings file path for storage is:
C:\Users\XXXXX\Recordings\

The customer has asked that I migrate that recording area away from C: of the local PC and instead store to the network via:

\\recordings\1

Everytime I place this in the settings area to store the files...nothing records. DTerm software takes the location but there are no recordings.

My question; can you record to the network instead of the local C: drive setup?

I have never gotten that to work to a network drive. What I have had to do is set the recording to like C:\recording then automate a script to copy the files over to a network drive. The only OTHER this I would try is make \\recordings\1 a drive letter.

We had a customer that had 10 VSR Recorders that recorded to a network share. This way the Administrator could listen to any of the calls. So I know it's possible, but it's been awhile.

Guru, anything you could send in a PM would be great how you had set that up. Much appreciated!

It's become an issue for the customer also bc they had a security breach and the LCON is trying to narrow down to the common denominator!

Thanks in advance
