I have an SV8100 v9.5
I would like to have a virtual extension ring on a generic SIP phone or Single Line Phone. I have set the normal options for function keys (that do not exist) and Virtual Extension Ringing assignment but the phone will not ring when the VE is called.

Unfortunately you can't make a Virtual extension ring on analog ports like you could on the old elite systems. We've asked for this feature ever since the IPK2 came out. The response from NEC - Japan is "design limitation" The only way may be to use Loopback stations and trunks pointing to a ring group. See link below.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u...l%20%20Loop%20back%20trunking%20rev5.pdf
