Seems to be worse on the IP phones than the digital sets, but still is bad bad bad....
suggestions?

How does it sound on your butt set?
What type of MOH unit/device are you using?
What's the input. 600 ohm?

The sound source is streaming internet service through sound card, have tried 2 different sound cards, have not tried to check the ohms or see the specs of what ohms it is putting out, but the standard headphone jacks....

probably need something like a Bogen WMT-1a to go from 8 0hms to 600 ohms. Just a guess.
