We had an old Axxess 9.002 and NT based vm that we recently installed at a VERY remote location. I don't get any system prompts. DB Studio sees the Voice Processor so I am wondering if I got a cable mixed up or is something corrupt. I was in a hury and needed to leave the location before getting everything configured. This system had been sitting on the shelf for 1 1/2 years but was working fine before the move to the new location.

Make sure the PCM Cable is installed in the correct port on the Voice Mail. It should go from the 15 pin connector marked CPU on the back of the Voice Mail to the 15 pin connector marked PCM on the CPC Card. If your Voice Mail port is not marked CPU then it is the one on the Right Side when looking at the back of the Voice Mail Unit.

Per the user I had verify the cabling: "The flat one is plugged into COM-2 the round one is plugged into CPU PCM PORT". I just had the user there at the office look at the back and she says the CPU plug is in the right hand one (there are two ports on this card). It is tough because they are a 4 hour drive so I need to get this handled remotely.
