Would it be possible for the programming I describe below to be done?

We have 3 offices, our main office runs an Axxess Switch (Software v10) and two branch offices run 5000's.

Our main number, 555-1212 comes into the main office and rings at the front desk.

Would it be possible for someone to have a button programmed at the 2 branch locations that when pressed would make the calls on 555-1212 go to that office instead? We already utilize the night mode on our phones so it would have to be something other than that.

Any input would be extremely helpful.

Yes this is possible although not a "standard" feature. One of the 1st things to think about would be: Does the "Front Desk @ main" still need to answer internal calls or any other dialed numbers. Also, do you need the calls to "only' ring one location at a time or all three.

I assume these are networked sites with enough Voice Quality to handle the calls.

The front desk does NOT need to answer the calls while this feature is active.

The calls need only ring at whatever location is 'activated'

Yes, all offices are networked together and voice quality is not an issue.

Thanks for your response tighe - I appreciate the help. Any other advice you could give me?

The easiest way is to call forward (355) the front desk phone to the needed location. This can be done by the front desk or by the remote office using the remote programming feature (359), use a station speed dial to "chain" the feature codes together on a button.

In 5000 DB Programming (v1.2x) whats the method to doing this?

What would I enter for programmable keys under endpoints to daisy chain multiple feature codes?
