Really? What gave you that idea? I mean, Arthur just asked if he was ready to take out his own appendix or wisdom teeth. How could that scare anyone off? LOL....I agree this person would have gotten into a lot of trouble trying to shoehorn a newer system in place of the older Comdial, however, removing an appendix, I'm pretty sure, requires a slightly more sophisticated knowledge of the color code as well as where the tip, ring and sleeve go. He got scared but for no reason. Installing a small key is not rocket science I think anyone that can use a screwdriver and web browser could install and program the TransTel TDS system. Now if they want to use VoIP or SIP trunks it can get complicated but plugging a digital phone system into copper lines is pretty easy and does not require an engineer.
