I have a customer that switched from the LEC to time warner and they were using a dry pair with ext 37 from one partner hooked to line 6 of the other partner to intercom in between. They like to use the hfai because if they just ring the engineers in the other building just ignore them. I did a voip solution but it won't allow a * in the dialling string. I don't think there is anything I can do with the partners to fix this but it doesn't hurt to ask. I found out about the problem after I left, I don't know what version but the processor were 308s.
Thanks for the help

What is the VoIP solution you are referring to? Why won't it allow a * to precede the digits?
