Trying to use USER1 to upload a better sounding .wav file for internal on hold.
I try to upload the file and I get "invalid file format" when I save it to VRS/Audio Up Load slot 1.
Any suggestions?
No one seems to have time to do it right but everyone has time to do it twice!

You need to convert it to the correct format first.. Bit rate : 64kbps Sampling Size : 8 Bits Channels : 1(mono) Sample rate: 8kHz Audio Format: CCITT A-Law (uLaw for US) File size: Max 1MB This link may help you https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15032525/TIB%200067%20Local%20MOH%20on%20VRS%20card.pdf

This is very informative and thanks.
Unfortunately...finding software that converts files to this remedial format is very hard!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent program?

Most time I use "Freemake Audio Converter" to convert the audio, and then use "Audacity" to convert it to A-Law.
