i have a CIX 670 MT067 with MIPU, Toshiba IP phone register correctly on it but not CIsco 508g. i had ext 143 sip, but do not want to register. any help?

I can't say with 100% certainty, but I believe the Cisco phones use a Cisco proprietary SIP protocol. Meaning they will only connect to Cisco Unified Communications 300 Series using the SIPv2 protocol, not other manufacturers systems using SIP. I could be mistaken.

I have been investigating some hosted options and one place sent a list of supported phones and there were several Cisco models listed including an SPA508G model. No idea if it works on Toshiba though.
