my customer has an sbx system with voicemail and its about a year old. they said the auto attendant wasnt working right. it only is used in night service. i called in tonight and 5 calls worked perfect, and 6 calls after 5 seconds it said the time has expired, once in the middle of the recording it said your call will be transfered to the attendant, once later in the recording it said time has expired and also said same thing during a mbx xfer. the recording is 40 minutes long. this seems like a bad voicemail card to me. anyone experianced anything like this. dave

We have had this before. Usually if they rerecord the greeting it fixes it. Be sure they are not using the speaker phone and make sure they do not turn the volume way up on the phone they are recording with. Hope this helps!

i think the problem started about the time they changed the menu. i called them this morning and recomended they redo the menu as described. i think this may solve the problem with out going deeper. thanks for the ideas. dave
