Hello Everyone,

Hope someone could assist me with setting up a conference phone. Im looking to purchase the SLTII(1)-U10 ADP adapter that will convert the digital line to analog line for the conference phone.

My question is do I have to change a setting on servers configuration in the SV8100 or do I simply add the adapter to the extension and plug and play?

Thanks,
Mauro

Plug in a multline phone first to ensure that the port is set up and working. Then replace the phone with the adaptor. It should be plug and play from there.

You DO have to make a change.
In WebPro, go to section 10-03 and make sure the port is set to "NOT SET".

Plug the SLT adapter into the digital port.

Refresh 10-03 in WebPro, and you should see that the port has been changed from "Not Set" to "SLT" (or "SLT Adapter", I forget what actually shows).

At that point, you'll be able to plug your analog conference phone.

If you do not inspect 10-03, you may get a clicking/popping sound if a TDM set was plugged into that port previously, etc.

Thanks for the information. So once i plug in the adapter the setting should change from "Not Set" to "SLT" automatically ?

Correct. It should change it automatically if the device is properly detected.
