I'm using an analog port for a customers credit card machine. I do not want to reprogram the machine to dial 9 first. How can the system be programmed to get an outside line first when going off hook?

easy enough. especially if you know that they will be dialing 1+ area code.

So in the user of the analog extension, create a code:
1N
dial
1N
Line group of the trunks you use.

When the device dials 18885551212,. it will send that to the trunk group you list in Line Group

That should do it. I'll change it next week, Thanks! Just an extra tidbit, I'm pushing that digital port signal about 4,000 feet and it works fine, I though I might have to use a wifi and ip phone!
