i had a call for a dead partner system. 5x9 card is gone. i bought a replacment and plan to put it in monday. they have a 0x12 card on the lft slot and between that card and the proc. card it the partner messaging card. sense the last port on the proc is 18 and they have 12 more on the first card will the vm ports be 31 and 32. thanks dave

Lets see.... Processor: 10->18 012E : 19->30 APM: 31->32 Seems right. If the processor has an external backup/restore PCMCIA card installed, and the stored configuration is current, you can use it to program the replacement processor providing it is the same release without any fuss.

so it was but no card so i had to put all the programs in one at a time but got em working. thanks dave

From a cost perspective, the backup/restore card is fairly inexpensive. True...programming a Partner ACS is easy...but...reloading a program from the PCMCIA is quicker.
