Installing SL1100 followed the power up routine the system fails to initialise starts a cycle of steady blue light, blue light flashes three times twice and then goes to a steady red light and the cycle starts again. Any advice would be appreciated as my brains beginning to hurt.

It could take up to 5 minutes to boot.
I would remove any expansion cards and try booting it with the minimum hardware.

Thanks the system is down to the bare bones and I have waited for up to 10 mins I even left the room in case it was shy and didn't want to do it in front of me.

I would try reloading the software via the CF card and see if that sorts it. If not maybe a faulty CPU. Had both of those issues here..
