We have some employees who work from their homes with 8662 handsets over IP (just using their cable modems). About 1/3rd of the time, the calls have heavy static or crackling. Sometimes it's so bad that they have to call back using a landline.
Our main office has an Axxess running version 10. No issues when calling our branch office via ip over an IPLS link. What can I look at to help these home workers get more reliable service?

A couple questions first...
How many remote users do you have?
Do they all have this problem sometimes? at the same time?
Do you know which Codec they are using (G729 is best for remote users?)
