Hello Guys

I will be using these disconnect modules for a job and a office plug.I will be using 50 pair telco cable and would like if color code applies with these disconnect modules.

Is this done correctly btw# https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c6/Telephone_wiring.jpg

Also does the polarity of the each wire matter when I punch it down onto the disconnect module ?

Thanks and take care
Kimmy

Of course.

My question is why are you using Krone?

Perhaps Krone is commonly used in the country that the OP is located in.

The wiring in the linked picture looks good. I'm not partial to Krone blocks myself though.

Well.....there is a strong debate as to whether anything "south" of the Mason-Dixon line is "another country." angel

I think I have seen only one Krone connection system here in western PA. That was soon replaced by 66M1-50 blocks.

Back here in the Apple, Verizon, AT&T and quite few of the other CLECs standardized on Krone back in the '00s.

I used them and - they're OK. I like them about as much as I like 110 blocks. They're just OK. If you use the appropriate breakout cords troubleshooting is easy.

I prefer 66 blocks, but maybe that's because I grew up with them.

I've corrected the OP's profile to show the country they are posting from, that should take away some of the confusion.

I still have the Krone punchdown tool you sent me - and I've yet to see a Krone block in the wild.

I like to (and still do) use Krone 25 pair, either just the block or as a 21x for the demarc but that's about it. It's nice to be able to go down the block with the test cord to check the lines. For cross connects I too prefer 66 blocks, much easier to work with. I don't see any need for the test feature other than at the demarc.
