I have a Magix system that has been sitting around for quite some time that now a customer wants/needs. Problem is I can't remember the last time I programmed one. So I of course kinda got the basics down of the wiring and whatnot, and able to connect with WinSPM. But I am just trying to setup a basic system for this customer.

What they have is the following:
3 POTS lines for inbound/bound
1 Fax line (will just be directly connected to fax machine)

Magix System:
CKE5 Processor
2 - 412 TDL ls Cards
1 - 016 T/R Card (this being in the middle of the 2 412 cards)
10 - 4424+ phones

Function requirements of System:
Inbound/Outbound calling (duh.. smile )
IVR greeting
Time conditions
Separate after hours greeting
transfers between extension / outbound (cell phones)
Paging (handsets not overhead)
Voicemail - module not present yet though.

If someone could maybe help direct me as to where to start I would appreciate it. The requirements are pretty basic compared to most customers, and they want an older system thats just sitting around. So I can't complain to much about that.

Maybe I've just gotten to used to all of these IP Office installs and thats why I can't seem to get this figured out, not sure.... hoping that maybe someone can give me some guidance on this.

I'd even be willing to screenshare with teamviewer or something if that is something that someone may want to do, fee or not???

Thanks,
Nathan

If you don't have a copy onhand, I would download the Legend Feature Guide.

You'll need a voicemail module, preferably the Avaya Merlin Messaging with a port card suitable for their needs. If no expansion is in the works, I would insert the (2) 412 modules to the right of the processor, then the 016 T/R followed by the voicemail.

Execute a Board Renumber to get the processor to look out and activate the cards.

I would suggest reaching out to member "merlinman". Jack should be able to work with you offline to get the system programmed. smile

You should do a system erase on the processor also if it hasn't been done. In SPM do the following:
Maintenance
Slot
00
Enter
Demand Test
You'll see Peek.
Go 2 buttons below (hidden) press twice
Confirm that you want to default the processor

If you need system documentation PM me
