Hi
Just having a problem trying to get a Yealink T22P SIP phone connecting remotely. I have a 7200 in London with SIP extension remote site. It just cannot register. It works ok locally though. SIP licences OK. Port 5060 open on router already for SIP trunks via an EFM circuit. They have 2nd public IP ADSL so the IP phones can work. Is the problem with 5060 being used by non-internet EFM circuit and if so is there a workaround?
Many thanks in advance
Mike

Have you checked the white list on the 7200?
also can you connect like a sip client to the 7200 from outside the network as that would tell you where the fault might be (if its near the system or the remote site)

Hi Scorpion
Thanks for your reply.. I am trying to connect my own yealink to the same system but no joy, it just fails to register. Customer has remote office in Mumbai and OS7200 in London. I have WAN IPs in whitelist and am attempting to use port 5060 through router at London. Normal Samsung IP phones in Mumbai work fine. I am sure it is a router issue but still scratching my head!
Regards
Mike

You have to configure a sip extension, not an ip extension for the yealink phone.
It also requires a 3rd party sip phone license which is different from an ip phone license.
