I have a customer that had line four setup on a few stations to dial a code before they were allowed place a call. now all employees know the code. there are a total of 6 phones. 4 of the phones had line 4 restricted to call out unless the code was entered. I could not find where the code was in the system, so i denied outgoing calls on the button assignments on the 4 phones. after i did this. the other 2 phones that had no restrictions could not dial out. when trying to dial out on the 2 phones this a message appears that has something to do with destination restriction. if i disable destination restriction in the OLG all the phones can dial out, even if the lines are disabled in button assigments. please help.

This might be 'account codes' - but it could also be a code required by their long distance provider on line four.
Look up 'Account codes' in your manuals to see how to change them.
Phones can be individually assigned DRL levels - so some phones can only dial local calls... or only '911'.
p.s. Look under LCR/DR for 'Account Codes' in your Network Emanager.
