After the upgrade the lights on MCP1 blink. Then SP stays steady and MP eventually goes to a slow blink and doesnt change from there.
Is there any way to recover from this? JTAG etc?

Well I've found I can upload files to it in offline mode using a serial connection. Should I just re-upload sp100.pgm startup.100 & os10076b.zpg? Is there anything else I can do to try and fix it?

Well that doesnt help. So I've now found some russian ftp site with the documentation I need. SIO port 3pin connector specs etc.
I'll try this again next week.

I've found that booting the system with the memory switch off after a software upgrade is the best way to-do it.
The OS100 takes ~3 minutes to startup when switched on.
It is an old system, however I doubt a dealer would charge more then a couple of hundred to default the tech code.

Well if anyone else needs to know how to do this:
SIO port (the 3 pin connector on MCP1) is basically a standard serial connector that allows you to interact with the boot process.
SIO port pintout: Pin 1 (left to right) is Ground. Pin2 is TX. Pin 3 is RX.
Baud rate is 19200.
During boot process you need to his enter at a certain time. Then the password you need to enter is os100samsung you can then do what you need to do and load files using offline mode upload from the officeserv manager.
I'm sure someone here knew this info but I'm not sure why its bad to give out?

Google a picture for a serial DB9 connector. If you dont have that port on your laptop your stuffed? (Or you need a good usb to serial adaptor but they are hard to find)
Then you need to make a cable that has a DB9 connector on one side for your computer and a 3 pin connector to plug into the phone system card. The wires you need to join are only 3. Ground, Transmit (TX) , Receive (RX).

In 10+ years of using usb to serial, i've only just changed due to my old one not working on windows 8.
You can find usb-serial adapters in most computer shops (at least down here).
