Inter-Tel 9.006
DB Studio 1.53
Keysets: Executive 550.4500

I switched around 2 extensions when an employee moved offices. I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong, but I've got the mailboxes inverted. Incoming calls ring the correct offices, but go to the opposite mailboxes.

System->Devices and Feature Codes->Stations->128->Mailboxes
Shows Mailbox = 128
System->Devices and Feature Codes->Stations->112->Mailboxes
Shows Mailbox = 112

Voice Processor->Mailboxes->128->Message Notification Station
Shows Station 128
Voice Processor->Mailboxes->112->Message Notification Station
Shows Station 112

It all looks right to me. I guess I could just delete/reset the mailboxes, but I'd like to know what is going on. I'm going to try a reset tonight to see if that helps. Anyone else have any thoughts of where to look?

How did you do the switch? Cross-connects? Through programming?

Change them back to the original programming, then do a station swap from an admin phone.

I did it through the programming. In hind-sight, I probably should have just swapped the patch from the Inter-Tel to the office drops, but now it's all kinds of messed. >.<

Btw, a reset did nothing.

I think it's back to the way it used to be. I gotta run. I'll report back tomorrow.

Thanks for your help thus far.

I tested that it was back to normal and then physically switched the cables at the patch panel and all is well.

I then checked out the station swap from an admin phone (as I'd never done that before) and that was way easier. I'll be doing that from now on.

Thanks DND and Stix.
