I know on the DK424 the power supplies put out roughly 27 volts on the battery backup connector to charge the batteries. I have 2 CIX670s 1 standard with 3 cabinets and 1 rackmount with 4 and none of the power supplies put out voltage, all 7 read 0 volts when tested. Also when a 24volt battery bakup is plugged in and I unplug the A/C power the cabinet goes dark. Is there a switch or something in the power supply? I cant imagine all 7 have a fuse blown. Please help. Thanks

I have never really had an issue with the backup batteries but hopefully this will help.
The battery(ies) must be connected while commercial AC is applied to the system and the power switch is "ON".
When I connect the battery to the connector I will hear a click from within the power supply so there must be a circuit in there that can sense when a battery is properly connected which activates the relay to let the power flow to the battery.
Shamefully, I have on the rare occasion connected a battery in reverse and there would be no click from the supply. When I corrected my mistake, click and the batteries would charge. ~ Mike

Power was on and system was up and running. Tried it again and no clicking. I should have tried the voltage at the battery to see if it was charging.
