Has anyone ever connected a Coral to a Nortel via an IP T-1? I have a Coral III and an Option 61 that I want to connect via Qsig. I do not want to use VoFR or PTP because of the expense. The Coral currently has an IPG and a UGW card for an exisiting Tadiran network and remote workers. The Nortel does not have any VoIP of any sort. Only interested in 4 digit dial and using dial tone from remote sites when needed, because Nortel is currently using Call Pilot and Tadiran is using Composit call center applications.

QSIG might be hard to do as Nortel doesn't support alot of what the Coral does on QSIG. You might want to get field engineering in on the call at Tadiran. I am sure you are not the first to do this.

You are probably going to have to a standard point to point T1 to get 4 digit dial and dialtone from remote ends. If it's a 61 especially since that model was before the 61C and thats even old news.
