I have a customer who has outgrown their TDA100 cabinet, They'd like to upgrade to a TDA200 for the extra slots/ports. Is that possible? What's involved? Many moons ago, I swapped a DBS 72 to a 96 cabinet and all it took was putting all the cards back in the same slot number as in the old cabinet, couldn't have been simpler. I'm hoping it's that easy, other than the probability of adding an MEC card on the MPR. Or am I over complicating things again, I have a habit...
Thank You in advance.

Unless you get a empty cabinet or second hand unit you will have to go to the tde platform. I would recommend doing this as the tda is not supported and you will have to go that route at some stage.
The programming tool has a tool to convert the system from tda to tde

The TDA and TDE were discounted in Canada this spring. I had two sites that still had the TDA. I upgraded both it takes about 2 hours start to finish. I put both on their networks so they could make programming changes themselves
