Our system version is 8.2

Is it possible to change the company directory to search by first name instead of last name? I figured out that I could change the names in the station list to be first name last name and the search would work, but the prompt still asks the caller to spell the Last name. Is there a setting I can change so that callers are prompted to spell the First name?

Thanks

You can change that in the auto attendant programming. Under digit translation, change the option from director by first instead of directory by last name.

Also, under Voice Processoor\Application-Related Information\Voicemail Information, change directory sort order from last name to first name.
