Looking for suggestions from the Mitel pros.

Scenario is:

1 Main location, 2 satellite locations. Satellites are 15 and 35 miles away from base.

Mostly SIP trunks, two analog trunks (modem & fax) at the main location and one analog fax line at each satellite office.

All calls need to be answered at main location, possibly reverting to local answer if VPN goes down. There are several LDNs, 7 at this point. 3 of the 7 could be on the same console LDN key, if that makes sense, because they are all answered the same way. We had incoming call indicators on the Nortel consoles, if that helps you understand what I'm getting at.

Main location has 10 users (but a lot more phones than that, probably 40 to 50). The satellite locations have 5 or 6 users, and about 10 phones.

The reason I'm contemplating Mitel is that they still have a real attendant console. I'm thinking the 5540 console, but the digital console would be fine, too. All the consoles (3) would be at the main location.

What would be the best fit for this application? It doesn't have to be new as long as it isn't obsolete. We're building a new office next year and I'm not going to try to move the existing ancient Nortel stuff. We don't use MS office so that kind of integration with email and messaging isn't important. I would like some kind of interface to get screen pop. An API of some kind or a raw serial interface (we can write our own program).

Thanks for taking the time to read this and offer input. I haven't worked on Mitel stuff in a long, long time, so I don't know much about their product line and their website is confusing. Since I'm not an authorized dealer, I can't access their documentation as I could with the Nortel stuff. So...looking for advice.
