We found one of these in shut down mode yesterday. Not sure what our tech did too get it to answer again or then restart it. Anybody know what can cause this?
Could a power surge cause this? I may need a new UPS out there if so.
Thanks, Chaz

By default the Stratagy does a weekly shutdown routine. Sometimes it gets stuck as I've seen in the Windows based units. It's probably fine now but keep an eye on it. If it gets stuck again on next week's shutdown then you'll have to look deeper into it.

Thanks! Shouldn't there be a way to disable that? Maybe a patch?

Toshiba does not recommend that you disable the shutdown routine. Which Stratagy is this?

IES 16 is what the repair ticket says. It was repaired back in July with a new hard drive.
Thanks

The first thing that I'd check is for an excessive amount of messages. Run a report and see if that's the case.
