Customer with a TDA 100, system, wants to replace 3 TD 7690 wireless handsets. If I replace the three handsets with refurbished units is there any programming to be done on the system, or can we just plug-and-play so to speak? Also are there new handsets available that would replace these handsets, and would these need programming?
Thanks in advance

all dect phone need to be registered to the system in programming.

Those phones run off the old t0141 cell sites, those cell sites won't support anything new. You'll need to upgrade the cell sites, most likely the system software like obt said, then you can install new cordless phones. When you upgrade the cell sites you need to follow the procedure on Panasonicpartnerportal.com or else you might run into issues.

OK What does programming amount to if they just get refurbished 7690 handsets?

You have to go into programming and register the wireless telephones, very easy if you have the software.
The button labels will have to be done as well that is done on the handsets

I don't have the software, can I do it with a PT phone, or where can I get the software? I have a manual for the TDA 100,
or is there a separate manual for the wireless phones?

OK I got the software, & the customer has 3 refurb 7690 PS handsets, do I have to terminate the existing handsets before I register the new ones, since they will be the same ext. no. as the old ones?
