Hi everyone,

I'm working on an OfficeServ 7200 and trying to add music for customers to listen to while on hold. For cards we have an MP20, 16TRK, 16DLI12, OAS, 8COMBO3 and SVMi-20i. From what I've found online, I understand that some have used one of the MISC slots on the MP20 card to plug in an RJ45 with speaker wire. That much I have done. The only thing I need to know is how to configure it to work. I have OfficeServ Device Manager V4.75. Can you tell me which MMC(s) I am supposed to be able to use to enable this feature?

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Jeremy

All it takes is an RJ45 in the MISC port. The center pair is for MOH and needs to have a mono rca plug to fit your MOH device. Then set the MOH for trks and exts to 371 and the BGM to 371.

Thank you very much for your reply. What if MISC1 is in use, would I still use 371?

371 seemed to be some kind of 8-bit music that is actually quite annoying lol.

This is where I have issue. I thought I had read that somewhere else but that option does not show up under MMC 861.

Ok. Good. It is in the system config. 2.2.1 will tell you the port for your MOH. In the 7200 it is sometimes 372 or 373 instead of 371. Your connection is correct.
