Hello
Would anyone know the difference between DP 5022 F screen phone and the DP5022 S see lots of posts about a phone for the CIX 40?
The F is working on a cix 100 ver 5 but not the S connection denied
Thank you

I think you mean the 5022-SDM... the SDM is meant for the 40 only, and if you want to put it on a CIX100, you need to purchase a license for it.

I am guess that the part numbers are different in the US and in your area. In the US the DP-5022-SD is for the CIX 100 and the DP5022-SDM is for a CIX 40. They are identical phones but the phone used on a CIX 40 is priced less then the other phone designed for the CIX 100.

When you try to connect the DP5022-SDM phone to a CIX 100 you get the error message you described.

Again, I don't know if the part numbers are different, but the same principle applies. Even though the phones look exactly the same, you can not take the phone designed for the CIX 40 and connect it to a CIX 100 unless you add a special license to the CIX 100.

Thank You David
When you try connect the screen says access denied and the message light flashes then all the key strip buttons 10 of them also flash strangely I only have an S and not DM would think it would be more universal to make one model which ever country you are in presume there is reason why .I can get to a DP Programing like the IP Phones 3 6 9 hold but from there not sure what to do there is reset option which I tried did not help. Would any one know if you can down load firmware like the IP Phones to a normal screen phone
Appreciated

There are different models of handsets for different country's that match the processors for that country.

The USA/Canada has DPxxx-SD
The UK has DP5xxxF-SD
Australia has DP5xxxS-SD
Singapore/Asia has DP5xxxD-SD

This is to stop the GREY market.

Regards
Carl
