Good afternoon. I got in an officeserv 7100 and have been trying to reset the system to factory. I have the tech pw **** and try through MMC811 but each time it comes back with all the original vm messages and programming. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Defaulting the system won't default the VM.
You'll have to log in with DM and goto the vm section and choose default.
It's likely restoring the backup from the SD card.
You will need to clear that and then default the system again.

How can you enable restoring the backup from the SD card? That function would be usefull to me.

Seems to be happen automatically on newer software versions.
There is no setting that i know of for it.
Later versions (>=2.6x) of OS100 (iDCS100 R2) did it as well
