Customer just pointed out that there is no TIMER on inbound calls.

What is the resolution for this?

Call comes in via: Main greeting - goes to extension.

Timer does show on screen for outbound calls.

Not aware of any option that turns this timer display on or off for inbound calls. The only options have to do with Caller id display name/number options.

so what would be the resolution for a customer who is complaining about no timer on inbound calls?

What are they trying to do? Bill off of the timer? Call accounting package would take the raw SMDR dump and show call duration.

Try creating a CLIR flex button on a phone...feature code 53. Then you can toggle the name display off and the date and elapsed timer should show up.
