Amigo's,
Running v8.1 on my Axxess switch.
Goal: I am currently trying to forward ext. 1267 to ext. 1268 on my system using System forwarding Path's.
Current setup: - I created a Forwarding Path (#20) with 1268 as Forwarding Point 1.
- I have ext. 1267's Forwarding Path set to #20. - 1267's Station is Physically unplugged from the switch.
Problem: If I call ext. 1267, it *never* forwards to 1268. I am not aware of any manual forwarding going on that would cause an issue.
Do I need to force any flags/forwarding path switches to make this happen?
Thanks in Advance!
-Dave

What does happen? Is it only internal calls that do not forward? Check your flags on the forwarding path to include IC. Plug in the extension to make sure it hasn't been forwarded manually. You could change 1267 to a phantom device forwarded to 1268. Why are you using 1267 if it's not going to be connected?

Current Results: If I call ext. 1267, it *never* forwards to 1268 (calling internally or Externally).
I just checked my Forwarding Path's Fwd Call Type - IC calls flag (it's already set to Yes).
I would change 1267 to a phantom device, but that line will be used as a regular station in the next few weeks (the forwarding is a temporary thing).
Still no change :-(

Use your "default station" feature code on both of those extensions. Just a thought.

Strange. Is there more than one forwarding path? It will try to match the conditions of the first in line before it moves to the second one. Check flags again. Busy, DND, no answer default to Yes, but check them anyway. Does 1267 have a mailbox? I've given up and just copied the settings from a working extension.
