Firstly, sorry about my poor knowledge about IPO 500, forgive me if I say something wrong.
In the previous post,
How to set up remote access for AVAYA IPO 500?, some advices, including AVG and remote dial-in, are given.
As the remote access is set up for customer (I don't know why they need it), I think IPO 500 Web Manager might be enough for them.
so here are the questions:
1. forwarding 2 ports is enough?
WAN:55580 to AVAYA:80
WAN 8443 to AVAYA: 8443
2. I don't find Gateway settings in the phone system, will the port forwarding work?
In my experience, Gateway must be set to make port forwarding work in NEC or other phone system.
By the way, phone system is Essential Edition.
