Hi guys, any idea where I can purchase a pigtail cable about 15 or 20 feet long with 4 RJ11 mod plugs on one end, and un-terminated on the other?
I have seen these used a lot on the older Lucent Partner systems.
I found a cable contractor locally for $18 each that will make them for me but I want to order in bulk.

Why not make them yourself? The plugs are real cheap, and scrap wire is even cheaper. You could probably make ten of them while you watch one episode of "Love it or List it."

I make them. I use black PVC sleeving over the pairs and heat shrink at the breakout just like the old AT&T/Lucent ones you are talking about. I have been making them up out of 6 pair of last to accommodate the 308 mods.
I also did the same thing with 25 pair to make up cables to go from the station ports to the cross connect. Two pairs each breakout- handles 12 extensions. I even farmed those out a long time ago to an outfit that made them for me.

Vertical Communications makes a decent 25 pair cable for their SBX system that has three 1-pair mod plugs and eight 2-pair ones. They are also perfect for a Partner 308 module and various Panasonic systems. The only problem is that they are ten feet long, but they suffice in most applications for me. They are perfect for such applications since the raw end can be punched down like a real system tail. The Vertical part number is 4099-00. I'm not sure of the cost, because it depends upon your relationship with your wholesaler. CLICK HERE FOR A PICTURE OF IT
