We are looking for an external speaker with mic for a customer that has a hearing problem. Does anyone have a unit that will work on the new 534 phone? Must have a volume control that he can turn up. Standard phone speaker is not load enough.

the phone is loop hearing aid compatible. other than that he would be better off getting a conference phone if he wants speaker phone. if it is on the NS or dhlc card on ncp it could be set as same extension as the 534 set

Thanks, I just opened up the phone and soldered on to the speaker with a 3.5 cable that now plugs into the amplified computer spk. Works great and the customer is very happy.
