I have OS7200-s with 4.75 software and when user's receive a voicemail the time stamp on the voicemail is an hour ahead of the System Time in MMC505. We are using an NTP server and dont know if that could cause this issue. Any Input would be greatly appreciated?? Thanks Guys..

I vaguely remember an issue with time/date and email gateway around that version with NTP servers.
Is the time zone in the time/date on the system the same as the timezone in systemwide paramaters on the vm? Is DST ticked on the same screen?
Are you syncing with the carrier's pri clock as well or just NTP?

Nameless, It's still an issue here. For some reason when using NTP the voicemail is 12 hours off + or - the DST setting. The same issue happens if you use the PRI clock sync feature on SPnet using PRI cards. Most carriers here don't support it on a regular PRI in the US.

Here is the response i got from samsung here about this issue nearly 12 months ago:
Here’s the details from analysis and test for his issue The time difference for last 12 hours is 3 minutes. This issue occurs because customer sets NTP but NTP server does not work. (OR the OS7200s is not connected to NTP server) In order to resolve this, 1) In case customer wants to use NTP time, set the NTP to other server which works properly. 2) In case customer does not need to use NTP time, clear the NTP setting on OS7200s.

The sync feature on the SPNET table is only if you have PRI cards using QSIG, it won't sync time/date via SPNET.
There are 1 or 2 carriers that used to (not sure if they still do, this was back in the hey day of the 500's) not present local time on the clock sync, I think it was GMT or something like that.
