Trying to power InterTel IP PhonePlus 770.4550 using PoE switch, but switch not detecting phone as a PoE device. Phone not powering up. Using a HP 1420-24G-PoE+ (124W) Switch
(JH019A). Any Ideas?

I assume your subject is what you really have, as I don't know of a 770.4550 phone set.

The 770.4500 was not PoE compatible, it was pre-standards and used a different voltage and no protocol. The 770.4600 introduced PoE compatibility.
