Greetings,
We upgraded our office 7100 from 4.85 to 4.9x, no issues ran smooth. We recently changed our IP scheme from 10.10.11.xxx to 192.168.88.xxx changed the IP address in the 7100 to 192.168.88.005 gateway 192.168.88.1 sub net 255.255.255.0 Via latest DM. Constant bootloop no matter what we did. We reinitialized the system and restored to our 4.85 back up. Anybody else have this issue?
Thanks

So is the system running 4.9x or did you put everything back to 4.8x?

I've never had an issue with this.
What version of 4.9 did you goto?

The system is running 4.91 and currently running clean. 4.91 was what we had upgraded to.

Later today I'm going to change the address back to the 10.10 address via telset and see what happens.

I don't know I did it from the phone. Which I have always referred to as TelSet programming. Is it also called something else?
Thanks

My bad, i misread telset as telnet.

It's referred to usually as keyset or KMMC programming.

Ahh I'm an old Nortel guy and there it was known as TelSet programming as opposed to Business Manager which was their name for OSDM or DM.

Assuming since you attempted to change the ip address via DM and it was connected to the system, you sent it for a whirl. Best way to change IP address on a system is using the keyset like you later did.
