Hello all
I have a MICS 7.1 that had PRI
Due to inactivity and sitting on the shelf it lost all programming and the system ID changed.
I do have the key codes for the old ID.
I figure the KSU must have a certain number of IDs it generates otherwise you will have duplicate IDs out there.
So by downgrading then upgrading over and over I have gotten it to generate 8 different system IDs and during this process have had it cycle through 2 of them twice so I figure I would eventually hit the original ID that I have key codes for.
Does anyone know how many IDs this thing can generate because this is taking forever lol...
Has anyone tried this?

Most I think gave up after 20 tries.
Would it be faster to pull an exp card out and do the cold start, once up add the card back in then repeat the process?

Yes I've tried different things including pulling exp card but still kinda hit and miss that's what's taking so long.
So far I've gotten 5 duplicate IDs none 3 times yet I'll keep at it hopefully I'll hit the id I need ......
