when I dial intercom 76 there's a ring no answer,,,please help

There would be. If I remember correctly the external modem calls in on a CO line then either the AA or a person transfers the call to 76. Then the internal modem will connect.

All of this assumes you have a modem card in the first place. Dialing 76 will ring the modem, and it will answer an internal call. You may have a back-up card that doesn't include the modem.

Agreed with JBean. My Partner ACS R7 has the Backup/Restore with remote access modem. The modem answers after 3 rings.

I also think that the card present is a standard backup/restore PCMCIA. If it is a remote access card, then, try replacing it.

You are correct. Just tried it with my left hand while I was typing this. So right now it looks like you don't have a remote access card or it isn't working.
