We have an OfficeServ 7200 system, and several of my users are reported that they have started hearing beeps randomly during calls. They say they hear a beep followed by a lighter beep, and it repeats every 30 seconds or so for a while and then stops. The customer on the other end does not hear the beeps.
I have no idea where to start looking for this. We really don't use much of the capability of the system.

Sounds like it may be a call waiting beep?

Sounds like it, but I verified with our phone provider that call waiting is turned off on all of our lines.

And that's fairly easy to test if they have or not.The questions are how many incoming trunks? Are they equivalent? There aren't too many things that the system can cause a beep.Me I take the providers answer with a grain of salt,it's too easy for them to deny the problem. That's where I would start.

If they are using headsets a low battery on the headset can cause this. DAMHIK
