Having problems where I can not back up the 7400 VM just hangs on getting information then it fails. Have checked white list and firewall(on PC) to see if it blocks FTP but it just keeps failing. I'm on latest version of OSDM. Also does any one know the password to FTP in with a client it's not the same as the old svmi20e.
Anyone else ever had an issue?
Thanks

Are you connecting locally or remotely?
The username/password are the same as what DM originally was
unless your ip address/range is in the management ip whitelist you won't be able to connect to the VM FTP.
I can't remember if the 20i had the same passive ftp issues that the os7030/7100/7200s did.
What version 7400 and 20i do you have?

Hi
In 2.1.5 try disabling SVM Option/IP Service. This will work if you are trying to access or backup remotely.

In order to-do this remotely you need to set both the MP40 and SVMi20i to private with public and enter the public ip address of the site.
If you have IP phones on a remote routed subnet you will need to-do 1 other piece of programming for them.
