I had a minivoice system fail on me. At first I was not getting any kind of audio when calling the voicemail. I could tell it was answering the call and when I dialed *, # or any other digit I got no response. I initialized the system and now when I call and dial *, # or any other digit I get the prompt "there are no updates available" or something like that. What's up?

It's probably time to get a new system, but... Did you initialize the voice mail or telephone system? If you only initialized the telephone system (assuming it's a Vodavi), you have to change the leave and retrieve tables. You will need to make changes to fl. 65 and fl. 66. If it's a DHS system there are also several changes to be made. I suppose not enough information to help.
