I've got an FXT-224 16A, connected to an 8 port Key Voice VM 12.0.
Calls come in on a PRI. When a caller gets connected to the 2nd port on the VM system sometimes there is an echo on the line. The echo doesn't seem to get recorded when a message is left. The padding setting on all the PRI lines is set at Nominal.
I hooked a test set up to the line and made some outgoing calls, I didn't hear any echo.
Any suggestions on what I should check next?
Thanks!

Change the DIP switch settings on the 4 port voice mail cards to reflect the other card. Roll the telephone line cords so the 1-4 ports are on the second original card. See if the issue shows up on port 6.

The cards in the system didn't have dip switches, they're PCI and have a rotary switch. Both cards were set the same. I swapped them, the problem follows the analog PBX port not the VM line port.
The analog card already has one bad port on it, so I think I'll replace it next.
Thanks,

Got a refurb analog station card from Hoosier's, it fixed the issue.
