I have a customer that has several slc16 cards for fax, modem, cc machines, etc. How do I adjust the dial rules to dial 8,9 or nothing to dial out?

Are you saying you just want the fax or cc machine to pick up on an outside line automatically without having to dial 8,9 at the machine? If so, look into making this station a house phone. I wouldn’t change any dial rules because this affects the entire system unless you have the SLC's specifically using a route. Much easier to use house phone.

Rhett's solution is what we use. The only thing I'll add is that in some instances we run into people who have call waiting on those single line trunks as well. If that's the case you can even add the disable call waiting code to the house phone code. That way when it picks up it'll automaticaly dial 8, plus the disable code.
