Having trouble getting combined paging to work. I have the SL1100 setup in my office before taking it on-site. The customer has external paging, but I don't have one in the office to test with.

I want a page key that will page both external paging and the internal paging on the sets. I've put extensions into page group 1. 31-07 combined page assignment is all group 1. If I program a function key as External Group, or External All Call Page, it doesn't work. If I set the key for Internal Group Page, it works.

But doesn't the combined page go with the External All Call and it's associated Internal group (from 31-02)? I don't think my success with Internal is going to include the external zone. Guess I could connect a butt set to the page out jack and see.

This is covered in the feature manual page 692, combined all call.

By Default External All Call and all 3 external Groups, should also contain internal Group 1.

I've read thru Ext Paging, on page 702 in my version. External works, internal works. Everything in group 1. But no combined. Must have missed something, so I'll keep digging.

Combined paging code for button?

Program a key as DSS/One touch with additional data of *10 - This will page all internal zones as well as the external zone.

That's what I needed Ken!
I had those programs set correctly, but couldn't find the "combined paging" code in the function key list. I was missing the *10.

Needed to set this up on a system installed last week. Found this via a search. Thanks guys. looked for this in the documentation, but couldn't find it. Set this up on my office SL1100, without external paging, but it seems to work internally.
